Penobscot Narrows Bridge Observatory and Fort Knox Historic Site. Open daily. Fantastic views of the state of Maine from the top of the 42-story (442 feet) high observation tower. The new bridge¹s Observation Tower is the first such innovation of its kind in the United States and only the third in the world. The other two bridges with Observation towers are in Thailand and Slovakia. Fort Knox is one of the best preserved fortifications on the New England seacoast. Maine Arts Camp, Located on Unity College’s environmentally based campus, we are a small, inclusive community offering high quality instruction in visual & performing arts, technology, cooking, gardening and individual/lifetime sports.
